Funding Priorities
A minimum of 25 percent of the net proceeds from Susan G. Komen® Northwest NC funds life-saving research through the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program.
Up to 75 percent of the net proceeds from Susan G. Komen® Northwest NC stays in our local 11-county service area to fund local breast health programs including education, screening and treatment support through our Community Grants Program.
The Community Profile is a needs assessment document that provides an overview of Komen’s grant-making priorities and the breast health needs in our service area. Please familiarize yourself with this document and the current funding priorities of the Affiliate before developing your applications.
