The Promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.  Komen represent one of the nation's largest private funding sources for breast health and breast cancer screening, education, and treatment support programs.

Susan G. Komen® Northwest NC offers annual grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health and breast cancer education, screening, or treatment support.  These funds are intended to provide services not otherwise available to the medically under-served populations of our service area.  Susan G. Komen® Northwest NC covers the following counties --- Alamance, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin.  Please note all funding must be utilized within our service area.

The Susan G. Komen® Northwest NC Board of Directors has established Grant Priorities based on the stated needs in the 2011 Komen Northwest NC Community Profile for our 11-county service area.  We especially welcome grant proposals addressing these priorities.
